Toll Rates Denpasar-Nusa Dua is Increasing

PT Jasa Marga Bali apply new toll rates between Denpasar and Nusa Dua started on Sunday, November 1st, 2015 at 06.00 pm.

Akhmad Tito Karim, Director of PT Jasa Marga Bali Toll said, evaluation and adjustment of toll rates is conducted every two years by regulatory agencies highway based on the previous rates adjusted for the effects of inflation.

“For the new toll road tariffs of Bali Mandara from 1 November 2015, amounting to Rp11,000 class I, class II Rp16.500, Rp22.000  for class III, class IV at Rp27.500, class V at Rp.33,000, and class VI at Rp4.500 , “he said.

The new tariffs in addition to fulfilling the mandate of the laws and government regulations, are also intended to improve service to toll road users, in addition to provide certainty of a return on investment of highway infrastructure.

“According to the law, the obligation imposed to toll road users to pay the toll revenue is used to improve services, return on investment, maintenance, and development of toll roads,” he explained.

Rismarture Sidabutar, Director of Engineering and Operations PT Jasa Marga Bali Toll, said before the toll rates be adjusted, BPJT has sent the inspection team to assess whether the highway of Bali Mandara already meet minimum service standards and request data inflation in Bali to Central Bureau of Statistics.

“Based on BPS data, rate of inflation in Denpasar 2 last year amounted to 10.72%. Under these conditions, BPJT propose to the Minister of Public Works and Housing to establish new rates for the old rate plus 10.72% inflation, “he said.

The toll tariff adjustment based on the decision of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing number 507 / KPTS / M / 2015 dated October 28, 2015 concerning the toll tariff adjustment on some toll roads.
