Festival Buleleng Offers New Diving Spot

Various underwater activities became the main attraction in Buleleng Bali Dive Festival to be held for the first time for four days from October 23, 2015 until October 26, 2015.

I Gusti Agung Bagus Mantra, Chairman of  Karang Lestari Pemuteran Foundation who took part in this festival, said the underwater activities such as underwater photography contest, the release of new rock art structure like God of Varuna and Gajah Mina, and others.

“In addition, the other prime thing is Bio-rock workshop on October 24, 2015 until October 25, 2015 which will be provided directly by Tom Guerau,” he said on Friday.

In addition to strengthening the tourism image of Buleleng, he added, the festival is also to reintroduce the conservation area of ??coral reef development in Buleleng East to west.

” Pemuteran village, Gerokgak Singaraja was chosen to be the venue for this festival because of its past achievement, one of which is UNDP Award Rio + 20 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2013 ago. It strengthens the ideals of traditional village to become cultured village and based on society in protecting the environment, “he explained.

Agung Kertiyasa, the Event Coordinator of Bali Dive Festival, said the festival also as a celebration of Pemuteran that already has attractive diving spots that are well known to foreign countries.
