DENPASAR

Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Bali Province said that there are three districts in Bali which has not issued regulations related to small and micro business license (IUMK).

I Dewa Nyoman Patra, Head of the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Bali, said three districts covering Badung, Tabanan and Klungkung. Regents who have published regulations are regents of Denpasar, Gianyar, Jembrana, Buleleng, Karangasem, and Bangli.

“According to us why they have not been published it because of the current term of office ahead of the new regent, regent who has run out of office has not served anymore and that could be the factor that makes them has not yet issued the regulations,” he explained.

Although the rules have not been issued, so far there has been no complaints from the small micro entrepreneurs related to the licensing.

“Previously we have also sent a letter to the regents that have not been published through the Regional Secretary as a reminder that soon to issue it,” he explained.

He added that if there is not a unit of integrated services related to it, can be given to the head of the section that handles the licensing issues. It will also continue to monitor until the new regents later can issue the regulations.

“We also conduct regular socialization and will meet in person to see what the constraints faced that caused the regents have not been published the regulations,” he said.
