Julaikah Noor Aini or Noor Ellis was sentenced to 12 years in prison for murdering an Englishman Robert Kevin Ellis,60, who is the husband of the suspect. The verdict for Noor Ellis was given in a trial in the Denpasar District Court on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, two housemaids who helped Noor Ellis to find the executors, Marlina Bella,24, and Juliana,22, was sentenced to seven years in prison.

“Both defendants proven and convincingly helped to find executors to murder the victim, Robert Kevin Ellis,” said Chief of Judges Gede Ginarsa when reading the verdict.

The verdict against the two maids was lighter than the demands of the Prosecutor which demanded 10 years in prison in the previous session.

In a separate file, the judge also sentenced the executor, Adreanus Ngongo,23, for 12 years in prison. Whereas previously the prosecutor demanded 15 years in prison in the previous session.

Kevin Robert Ellis was killed in a Villa in Jalan Karang Sari, South Denpasar on October 19, 2014 at 7 PM.

Noor Elis hired five executors as she felt annoyed by the attitude of the victim.
