Bali Police have found a new clue in the investigation related to Angeline who disappeared since Saturday, May 16, 2015.
“Actually, there are some clues obtained by investigators, both Bali Regional Police and Police of Denpasar City,” said Bali Police Chief Inspector General Ronny Sompie in Denpasar, on Wednesday.
Nevertheless, the police chief did not reveal what is the clue since the police still focus on the search effort.
He explained the facts of the findings during the investigation into the disappearance of Angeline will be followed up after Angeline is found.
The clues were found by police after a number of questioning to witnesses, the victim’s neighbors, teachers until the adoptive parents.
“The focus of our concern is how to find Angeline. Once we found Angeline, then we will know is there a criminal act or not experienced by Angelina,” he said.
Angeline disappearance draws attention from a number of non-governmental organizations, both nationally and internationally to foreign tourists who are on holiday in Bali.
Volunteers from NGOs walked down the usual route taken by Angeline when she went to school.
Ronny Sompie led the volunteer’s action from Angeline’s house towards the school which is about two kilometers while distributing flyers containing information related to Angeline.
The volunteers came from various backgrounds ranging from women and children activists and volunteers of foreign mothers from Kerobokan, Badung.
Safe Childhood, a volunteer for children headquartered in the UK, and the big motorcycle enthusiasts also involved at the volunteers’ action.
Besides, dozens of students who are in the same elementary school with Angeline also followed the move by spreading information about Angeline.
