Classic : Pemangku (Priest), a painting by revered Indonesian artist Suminarto goes on show among a collection of 40 works at the Maya Ubud Resort & Spa from July 15. Suminarto, a favorite of Indonesia’s founding president Sukarno, was born in the Central Java royal city of Solo but moved to Bali in 1969. The exhibit, Faces of Bali, will run until August 31, and features Balinese-inspired subjects and themes.
