Hospital for Tourism to be Built in Benoa Port

Professional Hospitals of Care Accountable (RSPHC) Surabaya which is a subsidiary of PT Pelindo III plans to build an international hospital in the port of Benoa, Bali.

“We plan to build an international hospital, because it meets the needs and as a standard in the field of services that serve the cruises docked in the port of Benoa,” said Director of the Hospital, Iwan Sabatini in Denpasar on Friday.

Iwan Sabatini said the construction of the international hospital is in line with the development of the port marina by PT Pelindo III in the port of Benoa which is devoted to high class tourist.

“Currently hospital tourism has begun worldwide. Port of Benoa is a place for cruise that carry large amount of high class travelers. We will welcome them with international hospitals with different concepts, international standard, and serve tourists, “said Iwan Sabatini.

The concept of the hospital remains as an international-class medical services, but it has a specification such as for aesthetic and plastic surgery.

Additionally, it will serve Spa, reflection, beauty, and such kind of services in accordance with the needs of travelers.

“In RSPHC later, not only cater to tourists who are sick, but those who want to treat themselves to be beautiful, to do reflection, spa and so on. RSPHC in Benoa will have specialist doctors in accordance to the needs of the travelers,” he said.

The trend now is hospital tourism, even in normal condition tourists will need it. They need comfort for reflection, spa, and beauty salon. So there must be specialists, so that they get guarantee of comfort in the medical services. Moreover, drugs, vitamins, must already exist.

Iwan Sabatini further said that the company is conducting a survey and preparation of feasibility studies in the area of Benoa Port.

The feasibility study will be conducted in the near future and the results will be presented to the top level. There’s already land for it reached 9,700 square meters on the north side of the Port.
