The visit of foreign tourists to Tanah Lot, Tabanan Regency, Bali, increases 5.28 percent in the periode January to March 2015.

Operations Manager of Tanah Lot I Ketut Toya Adnyana in Tabanan said that the increase of tourist arrivals to Tanah Lot cannot be separated from the role of tour guide and tourism actors who have been promoting the beauty and attractions of Tanah Lot.

Of the total number of foreign tourists visited Tanah Lot, mostly is still dominated by China and Australia. In January 2015, total tourist arrivals reached 93.336 people. Then, as many as 140.145 people (February), 98.640 people (March).

Ketut Toya added to provide comfort to the tourists, his party continues to improve the infrastructure that include the rejuvenation of facilities for pedestrian.

Meanwhile, to maintain the security of visitors who enjoy the attraction, he said, his party involves dozens of pecalang (traditional security guard), security guards and six personnel of lifeguard. “These efforts are expected to increase tourist arrivals to Tanah Lot and satisfied tourists while enjoying the panoramic beauty of` sunset in this place,” he said.

Meanwhile, tourism objects scattered in Tabanan Regency received the the highest number of visit by foreign and local tourists compared to other regencies and city in Bali during 2014.

Bali Provincial Tourism Office noted, tourism object with highest tourist visit is Tabanan Regency with 4,763,558 people of total 11,687,467 of foreign and local tourist.

Foreign tourists traveled to Tabanan Regency’s tourism objectss in number of 2,772,796 people and 1,990,762 people are domestic travelers.

Following after Tabanan is Gianyar Regency which has about 23 attractions visited by 1,921,819 tourists during 2014, and third place is Badung Regency as many as 1,551,954 people.
