“In the future, the implementation of the project is planned to begin from Renon, because it is a strategic area where many offices are adjacent,” he said.

He said that the multi function sidewalk can later be used as a jogging and cycling track in accordance with the concept that multi-function pavement to connect one office to another.

Thus, he continued, the employees in the office will be much facilitated to go and interact to another office without the use of a motorbike, but by cycling and walking.

Meanwhile, IB Rai Mantra Dharmawijaya is eager to implement this multi-function sidewalk in Denpasar, just like in Barcelona.

“I saw the whole sidewalk in that city that can be used as jogging and cycling track by the society and it’s neatly arranged,” said Rai Mantra.

He said the construction of sidewalks should also be well-prepared, complete with directional signs to the sidewalk users that will make them know the functions and benefits of the multi-purpose pavement.

For example, by filling the distance from one sidewalk to the next and how many calories can be burnt along the way. And it will be self motivation for people who want to exercise.

“Yes hopefully the construction can be quickly realized, because the effect in the future will be very good for better infrastructure development of Denpasar city,” he said.
