Bali Police promised to resolve the arrears cases of alleged corruption, one of them is corruption of pipeline project in Karangasem Regency.

“We will complete the investigation of corruption cases that not yet finished in 2014. We will maximize the completion this year,” said Chief of Bali Police, Inspector General Ronny Sompie in Denpasar on Thursday.

Although targeting the completion of cases of corruption which is still unfinished, the former Head of Public Relations Division of the Police Headquarters stated that Bali Police wants the effort of prevention.

“We need to increase prevention efforts. Long before the deviant acts occur, other things being in this mode of operation should be prevented,” he said.

Ronny explained that he wants a synergy between police investigators, prosecutors, including legal counsel of a defendant.
