Badung Police Increases Security of Tourism Area

Police of Badung, Bali, to increase surveillance and security in tourism areas because of the increasing cases of crime in a number of areas in Bali.

“This is done to provide comfort and security to the tourists who spend their holidays in Bali,” said Head of Public Relations of Badung Police, Assistant Commissioner I Made Dina in Mangupura on Friday.

In addition, he also instructed hotel manager or inn to apply security based on standards of applicable rules. “At least there is a security guard in every hotel, CCTV (surveillance cameras), and corporate well with local environment,” he said.

According to him, with the good cooperation between the managers of the hotel, the people, and the security forces will minimize the space the crime actors to run their actions in that richest regency in Bali.

Moreover, he said, he also reminded Badung government to record hotel or inn in the region so that there is no bulging inn is still in operation.

“The data record towards inn will facilitate the control of the tourists and newcomers in Badung regency,” he said.

Badung regency as one of tourism destination in Bali has 33 attractions, mostly natural attractions. Attractions beach with a length of about 82 km from Seseh Beach to Tanjung Benoa Beach.

The presence of coastal tourism in Badung is interested by both domestic and foreign tourists as a vacation spot and Balinese religious rituals.

Badung Police have been working closely with the local government to conduct surveillance on a number of attractions in this area.
