Denpasar City again to hold its annual festival that will be held at the end of the year. The 7th Denpasar Festival (Denfest) will take Art, Mart, Smart as the theme.

Head of Public Relation and Protocol of Denpasar, Ida Bagus Rahoela in Denpasar on Tuesday, said, various Denpasar people’s creativity  will fill during the four days of activities centered on the zero point at Sculpture of Catur Muka Denpasar areal, in December 2014.

One of the creative programs at the event is the photo contests that open to public.

“Photography is a creative activity that is always carried by  Denpasar Festival by conducting photo contest and photo exhibition, “he said.

He said the City Government in cooperation with Denpasar Photographer Community (DPC) will hold a photo contest with the theme “Creative Denpasar”.

In the previous year through the 6th Denpasar Festival,  Denpasar city administration with  DPC  also held a photo competition with the theme of “Morning of the World”.

“For this year’s contest theme referring to creative activities in Denpasar which includes the activities of craftsmen in Denpasar, as well as arts and cultural activities throughout the city of Denpasar,” said Rahoela.

This photo contest is intended for public, which means anyone may follow, involving professional photographers as the juries.

Rahoela explained, the total prize up to Rp31 million. The requirements have been set, the photo is in color and taken with digital camera except the phone camera, the shooting location is in Denpasar.
