Bali Provincial Government will improve the quality of human resources through the optimization of community improvement and education training for prospective workers to face the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.
“We want to improve the quality of human resources by improving education and training in order to produce qualified human resources,” said Deputy Governor of Bali, I Ketut Sudikerta in readiness Socialization Toward AEC 2015 in Denpasar on Wednesday.
According to him, Bali has no natural resources such as mining and oil, unlike other areas in Indonesia.
However Bali, he said, has the human resources that are expected to fill the competitiveness of AEC 2015 especially in tourism sector.
“We have human resources who are capable of managing the tourism sector resulting in services that provide income for the area,” said that former Vice Regent of Badung.
He explained that they have a budget, one of which is in the Department of Labor to provide training to the workforce. But he did not mention the amount of detail budget funds for training of the workforce.
In addition to the strengthening of human resources, tourism destinations will be created in order that foreign tourists remain visiting Bali including improving security.
Starting January 2015, all ASEAN countries impose free market which includes the free flow of labor.
Socialization is given to the participants of a number of relevant government agencies of the district / city in Bali, including the private sector.
