“I appreciate the statement of Mr. President related to the Balinese way of life ‘Tri Hita Karana` which is known worldwide, due to the harmony that can be met on the island,” said Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika, on the sidelines of the meeting in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Friday.
Mangku Pastika said in Bali all religions and tribes live in harmony including cultural diversity between regions and between countries could develop here.
“Because of that harmony people from different parts of the world come here to have a tour and can feel the security and peace,” he said.
Therefore, Pastika said, all people in Bali should be able to keep and maintain what president disclosed.
“Indeed we had been getting compliments from various countries to peace and harmony in Bali, but it is also a challenge to the future to maintain and improve better,” he said.
All of it will be preserved when Balinese people continually keep the unity and remain vigilant to the current environmental conditions.
“We should not be careless about security, as the major factor for tourist arrivals continue to rise is security maintained,” he said.
