GWK Ornaments from Bandung Arrived in Bali

There are 18 trucks transporting parts of Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) statue from where it is produced in Bandung, West Java, arrived in the area of Bukit Jimbaran, Badung Regency, Bali.

“The first 12 trucks transporting the parts of GWK finally arrived at the end of last July, then it is followed by the next stage until now up to 18 units,” said Public Relations of GWK Jimbaran Ida Bagus Gde Budi Hartawan when contacted on Monday.

He said that the trucks transporting GWK ornaments will be coming more, regarding the construction will start soon after the first stone of reconstruction was put on August 23, 2013.

The parts of GWK statue ornament made of steels are temporarily put in the store not far away from the GWK statue reconstruction location, said Budi Hartawan.

The reconstruction of GWK statue with the first investment step of Rp 450 billions is expected to be finished in the next three years. Its location is on the 60 hectares of land from 240 hectares planned.
