Anti-Corruption Society Element (EMAK) reported the involvement of corruption by the former Rector of Indonesia Hindu University Denpasar Ida Bagus Yudha Triguna resulting in state financial lose worth Rp16 billions.
“The report from NGOs is now being analyzedPidsus (special crime),” said the Chief of Bali Prosecutors Office Amri Satain Denpasar.
According to him, as long as there is an element of loss to the state, the case will be followed up, although has been reported he is still the Director General of the Guidance Hindu Societyin Ministry of Religion.
Meanwhile, Chairman of EMAK Nyoman Sudarsa brought the case files of alleged corruption and authority abuse allegedly committed by the former Rector of Unhi.
“We report the case because the data obtained only on the suit, while others do not know,” he said.
He hoped that Kejati will follow up and dismantle fully the case of alleged corruption worth Rp16 billion.
“We want the handling of case of alleged corruption to be as equal as the handling of other cases in Bali. We do not want selective handling and only based on special interests,” he said.
