DENPASAR ~ Bali is to host the 2nd Conference of Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) from January 28-February 1, the organizers said.

“President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is slated to open the conference,” Director for Legal Affairs and International Agreement of the Foreign Ministry Eddy Pratomo said.

He said more than 1,000 representatives from 140 countries consisting of 104 parties and 36 signatories as well as from international institutions and non-governmental organizations would attend the meeting.
