Air Paradise to Fly in March

Air Paradise International, the island’s only such airline that spectacularly went bankrupt in November 2005, is to fly again from March next year, one of its directors said this week.

The airline was committed to Bali tourism, and would fly to Jakarta and Surabaya, as well as serving international routes, Putu Oka Semadi told reporters.

The carrier – which had been solely serving the Bali-Australian market – cited fallout from bombings in Bali in October last year as the reason for its sudden closure, as Australians stayed at home.
