2012 Induction Ceremonies

Taking place March 3, 2012, the inaugural launch of sports legends for the induction into the International Sports Hall of Fame (ISHOF), was held at the largest sports festival in the world — The Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival, hosting over 18,000 athletes competing in 45 sports, with 175,000+ fans in attendance.

The 2012 International Sports Hall of Fame inductees were:
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, 7 Time Mr. Olympia, bodybuilding champion, movie star and former Governor of the State of California.

The ISHOF award medallions are in a class by themselves, being individually handcrafted, each weighing over 2.5 pounds (1.1 kg) and coated in 24 karat gold. All in attendance knew they were witnessing sports legend history.

Dr. Goldman and the ISHOF were proud sponsors of the Arnold Sports Film Festival, as well as the dedication of an 800-pound (363-kg) bronze statue of Governor Schwarzenegger to the City of Columbus, Ohio, which is host venue to the annual March Arnold Sports Festival events.
