Exquisite interiors (and everything else to do with design) maestro Ross Peat hosted a heavenly birthday soiree at his newly renovated and seriously glam-swanky Seminyak villa to celebrate his 50 years on (and often off) the planet. Guest were treated to a sumptuous array of sushi and platters of Japanese delicacies washed down with glorious amounts of Grey Goose vodka and no shortage of premium wines. Too Heaven! A colossal-sized slab of cake with pyrotechnic candle was paraded out as a Marilyn Munro impersonator sang Happy Birthday, Mr. President to the coy Australian boy. Although the cake pyro candle fizzled to some giggles, the crowd didn’t and lapped up the event, which included some saucy disco dancing moves and grooves and a gorgeous, heartfelt speech by the well-loved larrikin. Seen swanning about at the heavenly occasion were Warwick Purser, former Australian consul Brent Hall, Wendy Thomas, John Millis, Laurence Sanders, Lisa Budd, John and Chrissie Lincoln, Najwa Green, Lewis Norman, Melissa Lynton-Lobado, Magg Barry, Pamela Bathgate, Herman and Putri Feigl, Lesley Campbell and Heliconia’s Michael.
