Lady of the manor Hemmy Pathela of Shanti Residences and Resorts hosted an intimate dinner party at the fabulous new Shanti Residence in Nusa Dua to celebrate her recent birthday. Guests who were seated poolside on the elevated decks of the sprawling property witnessed flamboyant cookery skills of nimble-handed resident executive chef Yann Sidik, whose flawless culinary precision created incredible, fresh, made-to-order Japanese delicacies on a spanking new Teppanyaki grill. Theatrics were not only displayed at the grill but also at the elegantly dressed dining table, where lashings of Veuve Cliquot were generously poured and enjoyed by the private party, including Max and Collette Hunt, Kumar Mancharram, Yvone Patty and Melati Danes, followed by several nightcaps of Chivas Regal enjoyed in the Residences’ fabulous home entertainment and audio room.
