Motorcyclist Skids, Dies

A man was killed when his motorbike skidded as he tried to avoid an oncoming bus as he passed a truck on the Denpasar-Gilimanuk highway at Banjar Singin.
Gede Ardana, 36, of Pupuan, Tabanan, was riding with his wife, Ni Nyoman Karmini, 36, and daughter Ayu Kadek Ariantini, 4, when the accident happened last Wednesday, police said.
They were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
