Foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia reached near-record levels for the first quarter of the year, compared to the same period 12 months earlier, with most opting to travel to Bali, government data revealed this week.
Most tourists were drawn to Bali, which enjoyed a 44.67-percent increase year-on-year to 363,686, according to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics.
Nationally one million tourists visited in the first quarter.
