A man recently released from jail after serving a sentence for drug offences was back in custody this week after drug squad police arrested him outside the Buleleng Market in Singaraja when they found he was carrying shabu-shabu (crystal meth).

Syafril Kusuma Yosef, 27, known as Richie, had been living at a house in Jl Dr Sutomo. Police said he was carrying three plastic sachets each with a small quantity of shabu-shabu.

Police said they had been watching Yosef for some time, suspecting he had begun using drugs again.
